We raise and show ONLY Havanese. We do not have any other breeds in our home. All of our Havanese puppies come with a 5 year health guarantee.
All of our Havanese dogs and Havanese puppies are AKC Registered. We breed for conformation, coat and health. All of our Havanese are Cerf'd yearly; Baer tested; and screened for hip dysplasia & patellar luxation at 2 years of age and then registered with OFA. The main focus of Prairiwind's Havanese breeding progam is to raise the healthiest most gorgeous Havanese show or pet puppies available anywhere and we do ship our Havanese puppies anywhere in the US
Our kennel name was originally Shelley Meadows and that is why you will find some of our Havanese with the name of Shelley's on our pedigrees and these are our breeding.

Sunlight streams through the window pane onto a spot on the floor..... then I remember, it's where you used to lie, but now you are no more.
Our feet walk down a hall of carpet, and muted echoes sound..... then I remember, it's where your paws would joyously abound.
A voice is heard along the road, and up beyond the hill..... then I remember, it can't be yours..... your golden voice is still.
But I'll take that vacant spot of floor and empty muted hall, and lay them with the absent voice and unused dish along the wall.
I'll wrap these treasured memories in a blanket of my love, and keep them for my best friend until we meet above.
